Brontë Bride is a local West-Canadian Wedding Publication & Resource dedicated to inspiration, education, and collaboration. We like to consider ourselves a creative hub for Canadian brides and vendors alike, to be inspired, educated, and encouraged.

We aim to offer something special to the modern couple; to not only share incredible local inspiration from real Canadian weddings and vendors, but to also educate & collaborate with authenticity and transparency.

We want to bridge the gap between local brides and vendors, and to be a creative hub where vendors feel welcomed, encouraged, supported, and truly understood. Our mission is as much for our local vendor community as it is for the local couples getting married.

Meet the team

Our desire is to showcase content that is not only inspirational, but that also brings something new to the table. We love featuring weddings and shoots that are novel and innovative. If it inspires us, we know it will probably inspire our brides!  We love modern design, appreciate authentic love, and value transparent pricing.

We want to stay local, so we're focused on featuring inspiration, vendors, and couples, that are local to Alberta & BC!

We also create inspirational content annually, through our editorials, workshops, & shootouts.

It’s so important to us to be a source of education, to truly educate and share knowledge with brides and couples, and even those new to the industry! You can see this tenet coming to life more recently in our True to Hue workshops, as we offer educational workshops and resources for local photographers and videographers. But our vision for Brontë Bride extends much further, and we are also wanting to offer workshops and seminars for all kinds of vendors, as well as for brides and couples. For now, we will continue to fulfill our mission by sharing more and more content on the blog that helps to educate current and future brides!

Hi! I'm Rebekah, Founder & Creative Director of Brontë Bride!

When I started Brontë Bride, I wanted it first and foremost to be a resource, one for brides, couples, and vendors. Wedding inspiration is pretty, (and we share lots of it!) but I also wanted to provide a place that didn't just show brides and couples what they could do for their wedding, but how they could do it (with diys, planning & advice, tips & tricks from local experts), and who the best vendors are to do it with (our amazing community of local vendors)!

I created Brontë Bride to not only be a source of local inspiration and education, but to help bridge the gap between local brides and vendors, and to be a creative hub where vendors feel welcomed, encouraged, supported, and truly understood.

I've been curating and creating wedding designs for years, with my work being published in Junebug, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled Blog, Grey Likes Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Rocky Mountain Bride, The White Wren, Glamour & Grace, & more! I love working with my local vendor community to showcase upcoming trends, bridal collections, and new ideas for every wedding season.
