Join us in Canmore for our Aegean Shootout and Shadow Workshop at the Malcolm Hotel!
The shootout session, Aegean, will feature a real couple, and include styled segments like a wow-worthy tablescape, epic floral installation, and stationery details. Attendees will be split into smaller groups for part of the session, so everyone will have lots of time to shoot details, direct models, try new things, and get creative!
That same evening, we will also be hosting an educational workshop session, Shadow, with Justine Milton Photography! It will be a vibey couple's session at golden hour/dark, with different locations like the outdoor patio, hotel lobby, and private hotel room at The Malcolm! This workshop is focused on on-camera flash! You can learn from Justine, and shadow as she poses/directs the couple, and then shoot for yourself and capture the modern portraits for yourself! This shootout session has a maximum capacity of 13 participants plus 1 lead photographer. The workshop session has a maximum capacity of 6 attendees. Registration is first come, first serve. Read our FAQ page for our policies on returns and exchanges.
To register, make sure you're signed up for our email list to get the earlybird registration link! Fill out our registration form, sign the attendee agreement form, and pay the attached invoice.
Once you have paid the invoice and signed the attendee agreement form, you are officially registered for the workshop! Before the session, you will receive an email with further information regarding what you need to bring, how to prepare, the exact location, etc.

For the shootout portion, there won’t be any instruction or education during the session, but we will have a lead photographer (Justine Milton) to help initiate posing and model direction, and to answer questions here and there if needed.
Register for both sessions and save on our bundled full day option! A payment plan option will be available for those who purchase the bundled sessions (full day). You can choose to pay the full amount upon registration, or pay a retainer to secure your spot and then a second payment by April 10th (additional fees apply).
