Deane House Restaurant & Gardens is an extraordinary setting in the heart of the city, at the confluence of the Elbow River & Bow River, surrounded by gardens. The restaurant features a series of carefully curated rooms, each with its own distinct character. In the charming, historic Inglewood neighborhood, with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, Deane House is the perfect setting for your special day.
Built in 1906 and named for the last superintendent of Calgary, Captain Richard Burton Deane. Moved twice, and eventually to its current location East of the river, Deane House graced the pages of Popular Mechanics for the extraordinary feat of engineering in the 1930’s that brought it to Inglewood. An old house with many lives, Deane has been a boarding house, art gallery, and long-time restaurant, reopening late summer of 2016 under new management. This award-winning waterfront restaurant and full-service venue offers a historic setting with lush gardens and a fantastic staff to create a wedding celebration that people will be talking about for years to come. Add your love story to our history.
