Joanna Bisley is a self-taught multi-award-winning bridal accessory designer based in Calgary, Canada. Many of Joanna's designs are drawn from her love of natural elements, such as freshwater and baroque pearls, infused with her love for a touch of luxe sparkle. This blend results in her distinctive modern signature styles.

Her passion is creating heirloom quality bridal accessories for her beloved stockists and brides. Joanna provides a personalized styling service whether in person at her Calgary Appointment Only Showroom or over a Zoom or phone call. With over 15 years experience collaborating with brides and high-end bridal boutiques, Joanna ensures that each bride is flawlessly accessorized to complement her individual bridal style. Her relaxed demeanour and sense of humour effortlessly set people at ease.

The essence of the Joanna Bisley Designs brand is to create premier bridal accessories for the contemporary bride who is looking for something unique and timeless. The ultra femme line with it’s modern aesthetic is meticulously designed and handcrafted in Joanna’s studio in along with her artisan trained assistant. Joanna’s intention is to create designs that will become coveted family treasures that will be handed down to future generations.

She is passionate about only using the finest materials including Swarovski Crystals, precious metals, freshwater/baroque pearls and lightweight handcrafted clay florals.

Having worked as a Project Manager in the film industry in Vancouver for 13 years, Joanna sought a creative outlet. She began crafting unique necklaces and earrings from glass and gemstone beads. Over time, boutiques started requesting her one-of-a-kind pieces, leading to her creation of Joanna Bisley Designs.
