This lovely mountain surprise proposal showcases the scenic Alberta views of Moraine Lake – with its crystal blue waters and surrounding evergreen forest – and a heartfelt proposal of course, all captured by Dila Pertiwi Photography and A List Studio!

When Ben reached out to me, he wanted to talk to me about his plan to propose and surprise (his now fiancé) Midila! They were flying from Ontario to Alberta to see the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Alberta, and this was just one of the incredible surprises he had in store during this once in a lifetime trip. Ben told Midila that he had booked an adventure photography session which two photographers (because hiring a videographer might have given too much away – which I completely agree with!). Dila was the main photographer, and I pretended to be there as her second shooter! It ended up being the absolute MOST incredible day and I think we achieved his mission of capturing the proposal and keeping it a complete surprise! A List Studio
As we started the “adventure session”, we had them face away from each other, and pretend they were posing for a photo. When we asked Midila to turn around, she was surprised to see Ben on his knee with a ring in his hand asking her to marry him. I would go on and on about how incredible this moment was, but fortunately, we have it all on video! It was hard to keep from tearing up myself. Midila couldn’t stop staring at the shiny new addition to her ring finger and Ben was ALL smiles for the entire morning. A List Studio
