This stunning bridal editorial in Banff is giving us all the feels. The beautiful tablescape styling of Stacey Foley Design, the playful and romantic bouquet by Foxglove Studio, the feminine stationery from Art and Alexander, all captured on film by Lisa Catherine Photography; Every detail of this feminine fine art inspiration was beautifully crafted and elegantly styled. With a stunning blush gown from Hayley Paige and a delicate Noon on the Moon veil contrasting the rugged landscape of mountainous banff, this bridal inspiration shoot is a lovely reminder that pairing bridal beauty and wedding inspiration with the elemental beauty of nature is always a good idea.
From the photographer, Lisa Catherine:
”We chose light and delicate fabrics within the champagne coloured tulle Hayley Paige gown and Noon on the Moon veil to soften the rugged surroundings. The florals designed by Foxglove Studio were delicate, loose and free. Art and Alexander provided equally delicate stationary with silk ribbon, vellum inserts, and love letters scrawled on parchment paper in walnut ink. In keeping with a cohesive aesthetic, the styling of our bride, as well as her natural spirit, was elegant and free. A table set for two styled by Stacey Foley Design was nestled along the water’s edge with mountain views seen through a thin layer of smoke creating a truly enchanting and dream-like setting. Shadows from the floral centrepiece danced across the suede tablecloth and dinnerware, a love letter awaiting each couple for their elopement.”
We love the way this inspiration shoot captures everything we love in bridal beauty, and encapsulates everything we love about strong and feminine women. Lisa Catherine, the photographer states, “This destination bridal shoot embodies the quiet strength of a woman, as we may be both soft and strong.”
We’re obviously all for female empowerment here, so we love the concept and vision behind this stunning inspiration shoot. Plus, who doesn’t love a gorgeous rocky mountain backdrop?
“A popular wedding destination, the Rocky Mountain range in Alberta, Canada is known for its rugged and often masculine beauty. For contrast I wanted to pair the masculine setting with a feminine and elegant strength, while still feeling soft and regal; to achieve this we wove delicate pieces throughout each styled element. We chose locations to really highlight the diversely beautiful landscape of the Rocky Mountains and elevated the naturally wild surroundings with locally sourced vendors and talent.”
