This classic Calgary wedding combines vintage elegance with modern portraiture, and features a fresh and bright colour palette for the reception florals. Rebecca & Trevor tied the knot at the beautiful Inn on Officers Garden – an intimate wedding venue situated in the heart of Calgary, with a bright interior space and vintage-inspired ambiance. Following their ceremony, the couple snuck away to the charming bridal suite to celebrate with a bottle of champagne & bathtub flash portraits, captured by Nadine Mckenney Photography. Scroll down to discover a surprising pop of colour for the reception, and creative flash portraits that are certainly on trend!

With the timeless sophistication of pearl jewelry, hair and makeup styling by Bellamore Beauty, and pearl-adorned bridal shoes by Kate Spade, these details effortlessly showcased the bride’s natural beauty, and refined vintage style.

The bridesmaids wore emerald dresses from Park & Fifth – a beautifully curated boutique with a variety of options for both bridesmaids and brides.

Prior to the arrival of their guests in the reception space, Rebecca and Trevor stole a quiet moment for themselves, allowing time for a private first dance.

ADVICE FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER:

Dedicate a moment to view your reception space before your guests. It is a magical moment to walk into your space and see it fully finished and untouched. Better yet, plan to do a private first dance! It will help get the nerves out of the way and allow your photographer to get some unique angles. Nadine Mckenney Photography

FROM THE COUPLE:

Our favorite piece of decor was the seating chart – we loved how unique it was, how we were able to incorporate our engagement photos, and how personal it was to use different city names that we have been to as the “table numbers”. Rebecca & Trevor

What a fun and creative idea for a seating chart and table numbers! We love seeing couples incorporate personal elements into their wedding day!
