We’re all in on this black tie wedding inspiration at Sanctuary Gardens in Kelowna BC. The idyllic gazebo, stunning mountain and lake views and jaw-dropping floral arrangements make this styled shoot worthy of your summer wedding dreams. Michelle Goodwin Weddings teamed up with amazing local vendors to create a vision for those elegant and romantic couples with a love for soft yet colourful designs.

This elegant affair in the Canadian Rocky Mountains includes the perfect golden tones, found in the florals by Perspective Event Design, stationery by Debbie Wong Designs, and golden hour portraits taken by local wedding professional, Minted Photography, a fine art photographer working in the Okanagan region!

From the Photographer:

This styled shoot took place at Sanctuary Gardens and The Gallery Winery in Kelowna B.C. The inspiration behind the shoot was the gardens that surround the ceremony venue. Originally we planned to do the table scape outdoors as well but temperatures soared into the 45 degrees Celsius mark and we were worried the flowers would not survive. The owner of Sanctuary Gardens was creating a brand new wedding reception venue called The Gallery Winery and offered to let us be the first ones to view it. We happy accepted and set the table up there!

We’re so on board with floral installations that break the norm when it comes to wedding ceremony decor! This black tie wedding inspiration proves that trusty in your florist to design something jaw-dropping for your guests to admire. We love this floral creation by Perspective Event Design!

How memorable is it to have your very own illustration and keepsake of your ceremony spot as a part of your invitation suite? These invitations by Debbie Wong Designs include rich emerald greens, nature motifs and the most perfect illustration of the Sanctuary Gardens gazebo!

The The Gallery Winery by Sanctuary Gardens is the perfect blank canvas space to plan your reception.

Making time for golden hour or sunset portraits on your wedding day is oh so worth it! We highly recommend working with your wedding planner and photographer to create a timeline with sunset portraits in mind. You’ll never regret this lighting perfection – and some coveted time alone with your boo.
