welcome to the

This New Year’s Eve wedding starts with a wintery first look and finishes with an evening of cocktails and dancing! Joel and Alex’s modern affair combines classic tones of red, black, white, & gold, and incorporates subtle hints of a New Year’s theme to bring together a modern celebration of love and marriage.

From the Photographer:

When I met with Joel and Alex for the first time, there were two things that were clear. The first is that they both loved the look of film or film emulation photography – as it is a timeless way to remember your wedding day. The second was that they wanted something to reflect them as a couple, their personal style, and their important relationships with friends and family. Gingersnap Photography

Getting Ready

Such a heartfelt first look with the bride and her besties!

After getting ready, the couple decided to have a beautiful first look at home, on the dock on Lake Sundance. A warm Chinook wind was a welcome weather forecast!
