Bride and groom, Serena and Will, initially had other plans for their wedding day, but when their destination wedding plans fell through they decided on a last minute “surprise” elopement at Sanctuary Gardens. While the weather may not be quite as temperate in British Columbia as it is in Mexico, we can certainly see why they fell in love with this venue – and view – in the heart of the Okanagan. Alexandra Kurta Photography captured the couple’s celebration of love, as they exchanged vows and shared a celebratory champagne toast with their closest friends and family. While it may have been an intimate guest list, there ended up being a few extra unexpected guests, thanks to a visit from some local wildlife!
