This Regal Bridal Inspiration shoot, which took place at the beautiful Calgary restaurant Royale (now closed), is a modern take on classic elegance and royalty, featuring bold jewel tones of sapphire, ruby, and emerald. With exquisite stationery from Debbie Wong Design, modern florals from Foxglove Studio, and glamorous jewelry from Adorn Boutique, this vendor team brought to life a graceful and refined image of modern royalty.

The concept behind this Regal Bridal Inspiration shoot was envisioned and captured by local wedding professional Kaity Body, and here’s what she had to say about the collaboration:

This Royale Styled Photoshoot will always hold a very special place as it was the last photoshoot at The Royale as a venue before they had to close their doors… it will always hold beautiful memories and I was so honoured to have the opportunity to capture this space after wanting to photograph in it for so long. It is a reminder to make plans and act on them, before it might not be possible to. Kaity Body

Featuring a blush bridal gown and royal tiara to die for, this inspiration session exemplifies today’s modern bride who wants to feel like a pretty princess on her wedding day… and we’re all for it!

My inspiration and vision was to play off of Royalty with a romantic and more modern spin. With the Royale as a venue being such an important piece, the feel and details all stemmed from the Venue’s aesthetic in colours, textures, and old world charm. Soft, romantic, and elegant feeling images are what I love to create, and it is exciting being able to see my vision come to life with such an incredible team with the same goal! Details, and playing off your surroundings are what can really bring the visual story out. Kaity Body
