This haunted Halloween inspiration shoot takes place at the Cronquist House, a House in Red Deer rumoured to be truly haunted. Quoted from the Red Deer Advocate: “The sound of footsteps on the upper floors of Cronquist House have often been heard when there was nobody upstairs”. Built in 1911, and preserved as a tea house, it set the perfect backdrop for this creative team’s Oracle mischief.

From the Vendor Team:

Do you ever wonder what your future may hold? Burried deep in the dark, bewitched woods, you may go visit a beautiful enchantress on the eve of Halloween’s night, but beware. The house that the oracle lives is haunted and her charm turns to madness. She will read your future but she might also curse it.

An Excerpt from Robert Frost’s
“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening” (1923)

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy winds and downy flake.

The woods are lovely dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
[The Oracles fortune is what I seek]”

We are enchanted by this team’s take of a mystical and modern-day Oracle. With charming blush hair and shimmering makeup, this look will draw in many unsuspecting souls!
