Find Your Wedding Vendors

welcome to the

Blog

My wedding took place on September 6th 2019; a lovely fall afternoon (a little windy… but still a beautiful day) overlooking a valley in the countryside of Alberta. I was so lucky to have an incredible vendor team to help me along the way. In fact, my vendor team was so great that I think you should hire them too… so I’m sharing 6 of the amazing vendors (and just straight up amazing people) that helped make my day so special.

Hi! My name is Rebekah Bronte, and I’m the Creative Director of Bronte Bride!

I started Bronte Bride in the spring of 2019 with the intention of bringing together our local community to create and collaborate, and to be an educational and inspirational resource for brides.

I am so lucky to have met so many incredible vendors and businesses who love to serve their couples in every way they can.

So here are 6 of the incredible wedding vendors that helped me with my special day (plus a few extra below that are also pretty awesome).

Madeleine saved my sanity. Seriously. She was SO helpful for my wedding day! She helped me coordinate vendors for the day, and ensured everything went as smoothly as possible. She’s a sweetheart who loves wedding details, but loves true love even more.

We had so many incredible vendors for our wedding, but Madeleine was the best money we spent. Having someone there on my wedding day I knew I could count on – and who really knows what they’re doing – gave me so much peace of mind.

It’s very obvious she loves what she does, and truly cares for every couple and vendor she meets and works with. If you’re looking for a bubbly, kind-hearted planner who genuinely cares about you and helping you have the wedding of your dreams – then you need Madeleine. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

Photographer

Kadie Hummel

My husband and I were so glad to have Kadie capture our wedding, and be a part of our special day! She was super helpful, very genuine, and wildly adventurous – oh and a total blast to work with!

Not only is she a super talented photographer, she’s also someone you KNOW you’re going to be fast friends with. Making sure you get along with your photographer is a must-have, considering you’ll be spending 8-12 consecutive hours with them!

Kadie brought such an awesome energy to our day, and she wasn’t afraid to take charge and direct the groomsmen where they needed to be for their photos. Her behind-the-camera-commentary gave us a good laugh during our bridal portraits as she was always very vocal about how much she loved the shot.

It’s very obvious she loves what she does, and loves capturing those special moments. My husband and I would absolutely recommend her for any couples dreaming of that wild elopement or intimate mountain wedding, she’s the best!!

Sancia and Mitchell Toth are the sweetest couple in the world.

The photographer/videographer duo are so incredibly talented, and I’m so happy to know them! We are so glad we hired Mitchell as our wedding videographer for our special day. He was so kind and such a professional!

I have been lucky to work with Sancia in the past, so I know how great they both are and I 100% recommend both of them! If you’re looking for authentic and genuine vendors to capture your special day, look no further! These two capture weddings in such a beautiful and timeless way, and they really care for the couples they work with.

Laurie is SUCH a talented florist, and she was so incredibly helpful when it came to choosing the florals for my wedding day. I am so grateful to call her a friend, and so lucky to have worked with her on a bunch of different projects.

Laurie is so kind, and such a sweetheart! She really hears her clients and listens to what they envision for their special day. The floral arch installation she created for my ceremony was so moody and romantic and beautiful, I’m still stunned! The floral variations and colours in my bouquet and my bridesmaids’ bouquets were so gorgeous, they were definitely one of my favourite details of the whole wedding!

I got SO many compliments from guests about our bouquets, and the moody boho arch and ground installations. If you’re looking for a wedding florist, who knows her stuff and isn’t afraid of colour, seek out Hen & Chicks!

Jessie has such a lovely energy, and I loved having her as my wedding hair stylist! I had met her previously on a styled shoot and was so happy when she was available for my own special day.

Each of us (myself and my bridesmaids) were so happy with how she styled our hair. As you can see with my bridal party, she can create any style and work with many different types of hair!

My hair stayed perfect the whole day, even with the strong winds, and it always looked incredible in our final photos. I’m so glad to have worked with Jessie and definitely recommend her to any and all brides still searching for their stylist!

Makeup

ML Artistry

Madi is a sweetheart. She did a great job of listening to what I wanted and I loved how my makeup looked natural and glowy (but also stayed perfect throughout the whole day)!

I met Madi when working on a styled shoot with Bellamore Beauty (another makeup team I wholeheartedly recommend) and loved her cheery and positive attitude. She always has a smile on her face, and is a great vendor to have around on the wedding morning!

The makeup trial was a great experience, and made me feel a lot calmer about what to expect going into the day. She also did the makeup of my sister (maid of honour) and my mother, and they were ecstatic with the results as well. Madi is a great artist (and a lovely person) and I fully recommend her and her talents!
