A wedding, at its very core, should be a clear representation of the couple themselves, their style, and their love for one another. So our vision for this shoot was to modernize the typical “farmyard/garden wedding” with bold colour, fabulous florals, and more contemporary styling. And with the light and airy film style of Justin Milton, the feel is anything but rustic.
This vibrant wedding inspiration at The Gathered Farm features colourful florals, lush gardens, a large balloon installation, and a prosecco cart filled with bubbly! What more could you possibly want to celebrate your love together?!
At The Cottage: Getting Ready
Joanna Bisley Designs provided some gorgeous jewelry for this shoot. The blush Swarovski crystals complemented the gown’s beading beautifully.
This dress KILLS us. The gorgeous silhouette, intricate beading, and flutter off-the-shoulder sleeves, put us in wedding-dress-heaven. If you’re a Calgary bride, you can find this Cizzy Bridal Gown at Novia Mia.
Bellamore Beauty really knows how to glam up a bride. We chose a spiral braid updo with vivid peach eyes; our version of a modern bride (we’ll definitely be seeing more bold makeup trends for brides in 2020).
In the Garden
This picturesque farmyard venue, The Gathered, is perfect for an intimate wedding for 2, or a joyous celebration for upwards of 100 guests. With an adorable cottage to get ready in, and lush gardens and greenery galore, this venue comes with some breathtaking photo opportunities.
Are you seeing this floral chiffon table cloth (with literal flowers all down it!)?
We can’t get enough of this intimate tablescape tucked in the gorgeous summer garden.
A Bubbly Celebration
A Prosecco Cart for champagne celebrations? We wouldn’t have it any other way!
Wondering about your wedding signage? Think outside the box!
Use your own picture frames or letterboards from home! These gorgeous wood letterboards are from Euris Home! Grab a few different sizes for your wedding and then use them to decorate your home afterwards!
Wedding Ceremony & Reception Inspiration
What better way to find your table than to grab a glass of prosecco as you find your seat? This display from Lotholz & Company was decorated to dream-worthy perfection with letterboard seating charts from Euris Home, vintage glassware, bottles of bubbly, and fabulous florals from Creative Edge Flowers. This is definitely an all-time favourite of ours.
