Framed within the picturesque landscape of Jasper National Park, this intimate mountain elopement has officially stolen our hearts. After a casual morning of coffee and cuddles, this couple took their time to get ready together! We can really feel the love in each sweet moment captured by Edmonton Wedding Photographer, Pam Kriangkum Photography.

Following their quiet morning together, Kaila and Dave walked down to the shores of Lac Beauvert. With Laura Coulson of Behitched Weddings officiating the intimate ceremony, these lovebirds shared their marriage vows at the iconic Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

From the Photographer:

Kaila & Dave’s elopement took place in Jasper at Jasper Park Lodge, and with the sun high in the sky and Lac Beauvert as the backdrop for their ceremony, it was the perfect and intimate event filled with heartfelt vows and champagne to celebrate!

Kaila and Dave both met working for the military, and their elopement was timed for a few weeks after Dave had returned home from overseas and right before the two of them moved to Montreal from Edmonton, so it was a whirlwind and perfect way to celebrate so many new beginnings.

From the Photographer:

A favourite part of the day was getting ready! As it was just me, Kaila, and Dave, Dave helped Kaila into her dress and it was a beautiful quiet moment that I don’t get to partake in often.

From the Photographer:

Elopements are really fun, and one of the best ways to make the most of your elopement day is to ease into it together and relax! Eat breakfast together, hang out, pop some bubbly and dance (figuratively or literally) into the day together.

When photographing a couple who are eloping, it’s a much more laid back event where we get to set the pace and see where the wind takes us.

If you’re loving this intimate mountain elopement, and like the idea of a really low-key event, eloping might be the perfect choice for you!
