welcome to the

This wedding at The Glenmore Sailing Club is the great example of an easy-going summer wedding. The relaxed atmosphere of the patio reception, the bright summer blooms from Fall for Florals, and the pure joy of the bride and groom captured by Deanna Rachel, made this wedding an authentic experience we’re more than happy to share. This wedding is giving us all the best summer vibes, and we think you’ll find it hard not to smile as you scroll through this free and easy wedding inspiration.

From the Bride:

We wanted our small wedding to be an outdoor dinner party, the type where everyone lingers over another glass of wine while the sun sets and new friendships are made. The Glenmore Sailing Club was the perfect spot for us. It had a big wooden patio surrounded by trembling aspen trees that looked out onto the reservoir. The best part of our wedding was when we arrived at the Sailing Club and saw how our wedding planner had brought our vision to life. The sun was shining, our spirits were lifted and we were able to relax and celebrate with our friends and family. Since it was a hot August day, we served homemade herbal iced teas, lemonade and sweet tea. It was so fun watching the little kids fill up their cups and then go back to running around. We also served gin cocktails, which were our favorites from Milk Tiger, our neighborhood speakeasy.

Getting Ready: First Look & Portraits

From the Bride:

I was inspired by the bridal looks of the 50’s and 60’s so I wore a veil and long sleeved lace dress. Later I changed into a silk slip dress that my mom made me for the occasion. My mom had made me dresses when I was growing up and so it meant a lot that she made me one more. She also made and embroidered our ring-bearer pillow. It’s those kind of details that made our wedding day feel really special.

We love this bright and summery bouquet from Fall for Florals! This refreshing summer palette of corals, oranges, and peaches brings so much life and energy, and is making us crave summer cocktails and orange creamsicles!

A Classic Church Ceremony & Summer Patio Reception

The bride’s gorgeous long-sleeved gown from Blush & Raven was changed soon after the start of the reception to a minimal dress handmade by the bride’s mother.
