As announced earlier this year, Illuminating Yellow and Ultimate Gray were chosen as Pantone’s Colours of the Year for 2021, and we think this bright yellow hue is the perfect choice when looking at 2021 with optimism and positivity! Don’t you agree?! Yellow, gray, and royal blue take center stage in this Portugal inspired wedding editorial at Norland Historic Estate, and we of course, can’t get enough of it!
Rebekah Brontë Designs and Moments by Madeleine teamed up to design and style this beautiful summer wedding editorial in collaboration with an amazing vendor team here in Alberta! We love how this design incorporates modern updates to beautiful Portugal inspired details, like a ruffled-sleeve gown from Blush & Raven, detailed azulejos tile place cards by PaperOcelot Studios, and a matching 4-tier cake from Bake My Day! We’re excited to see how couples incorporate Pantone’s sunshine-y colour of the year into their own wedding palette this year!
We love this unique take on wedding place cards. These tile place cards, created by PaperOcelot Studios, were a wonderful addition to this Portugal wedding editorial, inspired by traditional azulejos tiles found in Portugal. We loved playing with this beautiful stationery after the True to Hue Shootout Series event as well, styling flatlays and details that helped tell the story of this beautifully light and romantic wedding, all captured by Kaity Body. This just goes to show that the smallest details can really make a difference on the overall design!
