You might hear us say things like “do YOUR wedding YOUR way” or “your wedding doesn’t have to be big to be beautiful or meaningful” and we can tell that this newly married couple, Kathleen and Matthew, truly took these sentiments to heart when planning their own special day. This St. Albert Wedding is a living room “minimony” that exemplifies everything we love about the intimate wedding trend! It’s filled with SO many heartfelt moments and pinnable details that when we saw this incredible gallery from Nikki Collette Photography, we immediately knew we had to share it with you! This intimate minimony, held in the bride’s father’s home on Halloween (peep the spooky and smokey themed details below!) included only 7 guests. A moody colour palette, thoughtful details, exquisite styling, and unique elements personal to the couple, make this living room wedding one of our favourite in-home intimate weddings to date!
Due to the groom’s family all being in Australia, Kathleen and Matthew made sure to live stream their special day so all their loved ones could be a part of it! Click here to learn our tips for live streaming your wedding!
From the Bride:
Our phenomenal event planner, Catriona Hunks, took our vision and created a moody, haunted woodland in Kathleen’s childhood home. This was our preferred ceremony venue and due to the size restrictions from COVID we were able to safely have it there without excluding anyone. It truly was a magical day and being able to celebrate with a champagne toast on livestream after the ceremony really made it feel like everyone was there with us.
