This stellar team of Calgary vendors collaborated beautifully to bring their vision of a glamourous “Great Gatsby” inspired shoot at Calcutta Cricket to life. We love every detail of this Vintage Glamour 1920’s themed wedding inspiration, captured beautifully by Nikki Collette, and absolutely appreciate all the inspired details and thoughtful elements included by wedding planner Coco & Ash.

Both the bride and groom were glammed up Great Gatsby style – Top Knot Brides styled the bride with a bold red lip and glamourous pin curls to encapsulate that perfect vibe of 1920’s elegance, and the groom was dressed to impress in a suave patterned suit from Ed William’s Menswear. From the checkered floors to the painted floral murals to the glam details, there’s no shortage of style + extravagance at the Calcutta Cricket Club!

Unlike the elusive love between Daisy and Jay in the novel “The Great Gatsby,” we wanted to paint our own ending on the classic tale that boasts extravagance, style, and glamour. In our version of the story, it’s as though James and Grace have slipped away from their guests for the grandest celebration of the hearts. A marriage for the couple who aren’t afraid of the intimacy of two but want to keep both the party and elegance grandiose.from the vendor team

We’re in love with this beautiful and bold wedding cake design from Yvonne’s Delightful Cakes! Having a themed wedding can be so much fun, and can allow your vendors to be creative!

I wanted to jump outside of the box with this design and make a 1920’s look feel modern and attainable. I can confidently say everything about this inspiration shoot came together without a hitch and I am so proud of this amazing team and the talents that came together!Coco + Ash
