This picturesque styled shoot took place in Red Rock Canyon, located in Waterton National Park in Alberta. The breathtaking canyon, stunning views, and unique table set-up made for incredible photos and styling that we fell head-over-heels in love with!
The dress you ask? It’s a style from the Blush by Hailey Paige line, supplied by Novia Mia. We love it at every angle!

We LOVED this hairpiece from Blair Nadeau Bridal. The single jewel with multiple hanging chains was so elegant. We appreciated the Moroccan gypsy styling of this piece paired with the bride’s long loose curls, crafted by Bare Beauty, who was the hairstylist and makeup artist for the shoot.
Throughout the shoot, Michaela and Jay’s love was as evident as the smiles on their faces. They brought so much laughter and joy to the day that it was contagious! You can tell the love they carry for one another is sweet and true and joyful by simply looking at the lovely moments Marielle Louize captured.
The scenery and location was a huge point of inspiration for us and we really wanted the canyon to highlight our decor and palette choices. Our primary colour palette consisted of burgundy, black, orange, and touches of blue and copper. The location was spectacular and the deep red colour added so much richness and life to the shoot. We fell in love with this down-to-earth tablescape. The pops of colour, copper drinkware, and rustic wood were the perfect complements to one another. Natura Macrame created the beautiful macrame table runner specifically for this shoot! We wanted to tie in some bohemian vibes, and what better way than a stunning macrame piece! The beautiful blue glassware and cutlery were from Modern Luxe Rentals and Great Event Rentals. And those reactive dishes? Look no further than Westelm!
Don’t want to go the traditional cake route?
Try a tower of macarons, like this one from Ollia!
Of all the lovely styling pieces of the day, our very favourite is the floral feature that cascaded out the front of the table like a glorious waterfall. The orange roses, blue thistles and greenery flowing out of the table and into the canyon was a stunning feature, and easily one of our favourites to date!
The best part about a national park elopement is the variety of scenery; you often get to choose from so many different locations and views! A short walk from the canyon was a gorgeous valley, lush with tall green grass and framed between Albertan mountains. The couple stopped to take some portraits in the valley, and here’s what came of it!
Spool and Grove Crew custom-made this stunning macrame swing for the shoot, and now were convinced every bride should have one of their own! It was such a lovely and unique piece, we can’t get enough of it!
