welcome to the

This couple totally embraced the unpredictable weather for their rainy BC Wedding and the results were gorgeous! While some couples’ spirits may have been dampened by the cooler weather, Grace and James seemed to take it all in stride, making this beautiful wedding day even more memorable.

The incorporation of glamping tents gave this intimate wedding in Squamish an earthy and welcoming feel. With hues of forest green, coral, and soft pinks, The Wednesday Wedding Co. planned and designed an outdoor ceremony among the trees, and a lovely tented reception under the stars.

From the Planner:

After two postponed dates in 2020, the stars aligned for Grace and James’ epic three day long wedding party in the woods. The bride and groom were married on Sunwolf’s vast property in Squamish, complete with canvas glamping tents, a traditional South African braai, and not one, but two gorgeous bridal bouquets. Despite a downpour the day of their wedding, Grace and James nixed Plan B and embraced the elements to say their vows in the great outdoors. The result? The most beautiful ceremony in the rain we’ve ever seen. The Wednesday Wedding Co.

The floral design for this rainy BC wedding was highlighted with a unique flower variety: Protea. Not only are they stunning, but they also gave a beautiful and unique homage to the groom’s family protea farm in South Africa.

We adore Grace’s starry Galia Lahav gown from Bisou Bridal, not only because it is beautifully unique, but it also makes the transition from saying “I Do” at the ceremony to dancing all night long at the reception look effortless. Plus we love how the bride absolutely glows in this gown!
