Summer Wedding Ceremony at Silvertip Featuring Fresh Greenery & A Cute Cameo From The Couple’s Frenchie
This bright summer wedding at the beautiful Silvertip Resort in Canmore features lovely fresh greenery adorning the gazebo, an elegant and shimmering gown from Theia Bridal, a vintage getaway car, and an adorable cameo from the couple’s french bulldog, Nova!
From the Bride:
We love the outdoors, I was born in the mountains, specifically in Canmore. We wanted the theme of our wedding to be in tune with the beautiful scenery that was going to be surrounding us on the big day. Very fresh, but with an elegant twist. We had about 180 guests join us on our special day, from all across Canada, including our frenchie Nova. We had such amazing friends and family that helped us set up that day with little to no direction from either Jason or myself, but they managed to recreate everything we could have hoped for.

The Proposal Story:
We both had to travel to Vancouver for separate work functions. He had planned to propose that weekend, and had planned quite a beautiful elaborate proposal. He had planned to take the sea plane out to the island to have a picnic where he would pop the question. In true Vancouver fashion it was POURING RAIN, so unfortunately they called him and said that we were not able to go as they can’t operate in heavy rain. But in true Jason fashion, that was not going to stop him. In between all the chaos, meetings, and pouring rain we had a chance to grab a coffee at this small coffee shop with a beautiful patio garden. When there was a small break in the rain we went out to look at the flowers. (I protested a little because I didn’t want to go out in the rain.. POOR GUY, can’t catch a break) and once we’re we’re outside he wasted no time, and proposed. It was perfect. We celebrated with dinner at the Fairmont waterfront that evening. from the bride
