This Nordegg Helicopter Elopement in the Mountains Makes Our Hearts Soar
Jade & Michael’s two day helicopter elopement is sky high on our list of the most memorable ways to say “I do!” With an intimate team of Calgary vendors including Married by Cole, Confetti Florist, andBorn in Mud Bay Photography this is a helicopter elopement you’ll be pinning to your “Dream Elopement” board! With a snowy exchange of vows, a hiking/helicopter journey, and a rustic cabin “reception”, each part of their adventure was filled with so much joy and love!
From the Photographer:
Michael & Jade’s adventurous elopement took place over two days in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. It all started in Kananaskis with a hike up to Rawson Lake where a snowy and misty backdrop would be the setting for their intimate ceremony. It was in this picture perfect setting that Mike and Jade exchanged vows and began their wedding weekend as husband and wife. That evening, the couple had opted for a rustic cabin to have the reception of their dreams with just two of their closest friends, some horses and few bottles of Champagne. The following day, Mike and Jade put their hiking boots back on as we traveled to Rockies Heli Canada for a tour around Nordegg. It was here that they could truly reflect on their love for the outdoors and celebrate their new life together as Mr. & Mrs. Their wedding was nothing short of perfection – it was rustic, adventurous and as down to earth as one could imagine. From the Couple:
We really took a go-with-the-flow approach to our elopement. We had a vision of what we wanted for our day to look like, but mostly it was important that we could just relax and enjoy each-other, our friends and our surroundings. We recommend not getting too caught up on something if it doesn’t fit or work – if it’s meant to be, it will be.Michael & Jade
From the Photographer:
The most memorable part of this wedding day was the energy that carried throughout the entire weekend. Mike and Jade’s relationship is one of spontaneity, spice and complete admiration for each-other. Often, you can find them poking fun and making jokes while also expressing their fearless commitment for their love and life together. In the small group we were in, there wasn’t a moment where one of us weren’t laughing, in awe of our surroundings or crying happy tears over all the love and friendship in the air.Born In Mud Bay Photography
