Sand Dunes at Sunrise For This Sahara Desert Engagement Session
Are you ready for a sunrise experience that will take your breath away? Alberta photographer Seanna Leaf Photography travelled with Mandy & Mason to Morocco, to capture their breathtaking sunrise engagement session in the Sahara Desert. With glowing golden hour light, inspiring romantic silhouettes, and the mesmerizing landscape of the sun-drenched desert, this Sahara Desert engagement session will simultaneously inspire you, and transport you to the beautiful destination oasis of Morocco.
Traveling is our joy and our passion, and we had an epic trip planned to Morocco . We knew taking engagement photos there would be really special. We found Seanna through a friend’s recommendations, and she agreed to travel across the world to meet us in Marrakech. We spent 24 hours together traveling through the desert, riding camels, sharing chicken tagine and mint tea, and becoming good friends. It was an experience of a lifetime, and being able to have it captured with Seanna’s photos was unforgettable. from the couple, Mandy & Mason
Engagement Session Advice from the Couple:
Let your love with one another tell your story! Mason and I are constantly laughing and goofy, and we wanted our photos to showcase our joy. Seanna did an incredible job of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she encouraged us to just be our authentic selves. Mandy & Mason
The Proposal Story:
Mason and I actually had been planning a trip to Morocco for over a year. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and travel restrictions we had to cancel our trip last minute. We decided to plan a quick getaway to Costa Rica instead. On our first day of the trip, Mason spontaneously decided to stop at a gorgeous spot in La Fortuna. He proposed right in front of this stunning rushing waterfall – I barely remember what he said, but we were both crying and laughing. I had no makeup on, we were in dirty hiking clothes, and it was truly perfect. from the couple
Thank you so much for this feature of one of my all time favourite shoots!
